Systems Drop Arm Awnings called Nebula is designed as a Retractable Window Awning .Ideally suited for all kinds of Windows with primarily three important needs - Solar & Rain Protection , Complete Privacy if so required and completely Retractable . The Nebula takes care of all three needs with perfection . The Nebula opens at a an an angle of 140° thereby when fully open completely covers the window proving complete privacy . It can be retracted completely using a Manual drive ( Ground Floor windows ) or using a motorised option with a switch or remote control . Manufactured with Dickson® Fabrics , they would cut out heat & cold and reduce energy costs by upto 20% .

All Components manufactured from Aluminium alloy AlSi 12 gravity die casted in metal moulds using hydraulic machines . The model consists of pretensioned Lateral Arms with cables, tensioning Springs made from Grade 3 spring steel wire . Front Bar is an Aluminium extrusion B-859 of a particular design profile with a universal designs to take care of the angular movement of the drop arm & to provide a strong and sturdy Front support . The Awning shall have a tilting capability of 0 degrees to 140° degrees. All parts & Profiles shall go through a 7 dip chemical treatment process , chromatized and then powder coated in facade quality for a durable and fine finish. The Gear mechanism is housed in an aluminium casing consisting of hardened and tempered gear and worm having Gear ratio 1:24, Three Ball bearings and 1 Thrust bearing. 7. The hook provided below the gear box shall be covered with hardened Engineering grade plastic to avoid wear and tear with the cranking mechanism. All bolts covered with Plastic moulded caps . Side plates also covered with Plastic moulded caps for a compact and secure finish. All Motorised units use Somfy® Tubular heavy duty motors . Available with Switch operation , Wire less Remote Control operation & optional manual over-ride option . RTS ( Wireless ) , Wind & Sun Control is recommended to protect damage to awning during high wind velocities and automatic control of awnings during periods of sunshine . Wide Range of Fabric options from Dickson® France fabrics recommended by Skin Cancer Foundation, Oekotex Certified or Vinyl coated mesh fabrics available .
